			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>By IPS Correspondents  and - -<br />CARACAS, Feb 20 2012 (IPS) </p><p>Fundaci&oacute;n La Tortuga, an environmental organization based in the northern Venezuelan city of Barcelona, is hosting an exhibition by visionary artist Leopoldo Cardozo, who integrates plastic bags, used phone cards, bottles and other waste into his works. <span id="more-124737"></span> Cardozo told Tierram&eacute;rica that the show, entitled &quot;De entrop&iacute;a y transfiguraci&oacute;n: pensamientos en materiales reusables y reciclables&quot; (&quot;On Entropy and Transfiguration: Thoughts in Reusable and Recyclable Materials&quot;), is aimed at &quot;transforming waste materials into something beautiful and expressive, making them transmit emotions and sensations in a different context, another view of nature from the human perspective.&quot;</p>
<p>The exhibition opened on Feb. 16 and will continue until Mar. 16.</p>
