The agency’s flagship world service covers over 135 countries. The service is produced in English and Spanish, with a daily output of around 10 news features and analyses per language.

Thousands of newspapers and news sites run stories from the IPS world service. They receive the daily feed via FTP, RSS and email.

Selected stories are translated into more than 20 languages, including:

RADIO SERVICE

Selected IPS stories are repackaged for radio on a daily or weekly basis and distributed by radio stations and partner radio networks, notably in Southern Africa and Latin America.

IPS Latin America produces a daily radio programme with a selection of its best editorial products, focusing on development, population, human rights, environment, politics and food security.

In addition, specific podcast series cover issues related to gender, health, women and climate justice and the Latin American environmental project Tierramerica wires a weekly radio programme broadcast to hundreds of community, commercial and cultural stations.

IPS Africa produces radio inserts and a Rip and Read Radio Service.

PHOTO SERVICE

IPS stories recount the rich diversity of people’s lives around the globe, and IPS photographs (http://www.flickr.com/ipsnews) bring even more life to our news, features, analyses and interviews. Users can choose to pay either a subscription fee, which includes the right to republish an unlimited number of IPS photos, or pay a fee per photo.
