- The government of Honduras has established a specialized unit to ensure transparency in the use of loans and donations earmarked for climate change initiatives, at the request of international financial institutions. Finance Minister William Chong Wong told Tierramérica that the Unit for Climate Change Economic and Financial Management, which will be attached to the ministry, is aimed at “more transparency and greater efficiency in the allocation of resources.”
